Notes for Working with Text in Flash CS4

Working with text in Flash CS4 has not changed very much, as far as I can see.

Here's the working scrollbar (UIScrollBar, supplied with CS4):

Note that the scrolling text field MUST be DYNAMIC text (most Flash text is STATIC). To ensure that the font family you have chosen is visible to all users, you must embed selected elements of the font family, using the Character Embedding dialog:
